and i was just stating that he has a bonus track called 'gunshots' and thats all it is..
the point of a bonus track is usually just to have a remix or shit like that... shit that woulda gone on a b-side of the single. If its a whole nother track then unless its labeled Bonus it probably aint a bonus track... if it is, it just means that its either b-side material or it just dont flow with the rest of the album

Its a marketing tool.
by placing a bonus track on CD they can potentially charge a lil extra, and then have the normal cd sell for normal price...so that they can target an average fan, and get a good fan to pay more....
Alot of times a bonus track with also go on the same CD - where they will add an extra poster or a different cover, so that they can charge more ..and try to target those major fans who will potentially buy BOTH the original and the special/bonus one.
Its not really a scam, but just a chance to capitalize on making the most money possible.
Kinda like with lil waynes Tha Carter III ... I believe he released 3 different CDs that all were slightly different... 1. 9.99 2. 13.99 few bonuses tracks, extra pics 3. 15.99 more bonus tracks, more pics.. etc.
that way he could potentially get a big fan by 2 or even all 3....

Usually it's because the track doesn't really fit in the album. Just because an album isn't a concept album doesn't mean that they've just put their best songs on a disc, which tracks gets picked and which order they're in ain't random.
