Yeah I remember this track, I still listen to it every now and then aha, it was no doubt the strongest song off that album, which explains why he used it as the title. Eitherway, its a pretty chilled out song

did em's style just "evolve" or did he find another style someone else was using and took it

The guys talented don't get me wrong. MY opinion is he observed some other people's styles and crafted his to the direction he like... NOT stealing it totally such as say Lil Wayne , but EyeDea ...Royce, Nas or Canibus might tell you a different story...

is it safe to say Em is so far THE only feared battler to cross over to mainstream music successfully?
there are a lot of decent battlers nowadays but they are absolute poop at making music, and i'm not just talking jin

LIstening to Fucking Bacstabber, I don't think he ripped his style of Cage, it just became more and more into the evil crazy white boy shit.. He might have, never know..

I never really thought Eminem stole his style from anyone, I just assumed it changed over time, and he probably noticed an increase in sales with that change, so he kept at it. Eitherway Eminem is still one of the best out there, I still listen to a lot of his tracks, Rabbit Run, Infinite, Doe Ray Me, Without Me, Cleaing Out My Closet, etc.
