    Touching the Fire


    Olympic torch gleaming with a scorching fire beaming
    Inspired a mans dreaming an influenced a fluent feeling
    A pursuant of great healing threw construing lifes sense
    Carrying many burdens strategically hurdling lifes fence
    With strife’s tense immense he sent hence to insecurities
    Boldly stood on his one foot an put to soot his impurities
    With obscurity the past he’s passed the heat for the flame
    Filled with pride deep inside weeping eyed he proclaimed
    I’ve subsided in pain as yearning the same burning desire
    He clutches his flaming torch as he at last touches the fire

    i could picture inspectah deck spitting something like this. it was fire man, strong vocab, great imagry and awell-placed multis to boot. some ill subject matter.

    just strength on the screen, keep posting and showing these newbies how its done.

    yah this was good

    pretty deep...can see you ut emotion into it....the imagery
    was dope....the flow was crazy, mad flow in there...ver
    consistent...the vocab was crazy too...a lot of 'big' words
    in there...i dunno, the way i looked at it gave me a poem
    feeling...but i could just be looking differently at it..........
    the concepts and guts of it were just all in all straight

    very good
